Dr. Holzer is an experienced reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist. He believes the field of fertility is the most wonderful of all the amazing professions in medicine.
Dr. Holzer attended the Hebrew University-Hadassah School of Medicine in Jerusalem, where he was class valedictorian and was awarded his MD in 1991. He has completed an internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center, as well as a fellowship in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
As both a passionate practitioner and researcher, Dr. Holzer has published in 25 different journals contributing to over 80 articles, along with numerous text books, case reports, reviews, and scientific conferences.
Most recently, Dr. Holzer was the Associate Chair for the Interdisciplinary Professions Committee to Examine the Wellbeing of the Child and on the Institutional Committee for Organizing and Supervising of Sperm Bank Activity, both within Hadassah Medical Organization. He is on the medical advisory board for Fertile Future, on the board of directors for A World of Dreams Foundation, and on the executive committee for Canadian Friends of Meir Panim, Relief Centers in Israel.
Lending his expertise to a number of academic and research institutions, Dr. Holzer has held positions at Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem, Israel, McGill University Health Center, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and the Israel Cancer Research Foundation (ICRF), in Montreal, Canada, to name a few. Most recently, Dr. Holzer was the Director of the REI and IVF department, and the Associate Director of the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Hadassah Medical Organization, in Jerusalem, Israel.
Dr. Holzer is married to his wife, Naomi, and has three children.
