At the heart of the new lab is EmbryoScope, a time-lapse incubator that lets our embryologists watch your embryos grow without removing them from their safe, stable environment.
With traditional methods, embryos are briefly taken out of the incubator to be checked under a microscope. EmbryoScope uses a built-in camera to capture images from inside the incubator, so your embryos stay undisturbed while our team closely monitors their development. EmbryoScope is available to all IVF patients at Toronto West.
